Logan, UT

    With a population of 101,811, nearly 50,000 of whom live in Logan, Cache County is a growing area 80 miles north of Salt Lake City. The Cache Valley itself is 60 miles long and 15 miles wide and experiences each of the four seasons.

    The Cache Valley, a fertile green valley with lakes and streams, is surrounded by the Wellsville Mountains on the west and the Bear River Range on the east. Just east of Logan is the Wasatch-Cache National Forest, accessed by Logan Canyon Scenic Byway (Hwy. 89). Logan Canyon is filled with geological wonders, including vertical rock formations, caves and wind tunnels. Thirty minutes from Logan, Beaver Mountain Ski Resort is a popular winter getaway. Fifteen minutes beyond Beaver Mountain, the summit of Logan Canyon is a breathtaking view of turquoise-colored Bear Lake.
